The Start-up-Trainee Programme

Are you fascinated by the internet sector? Are you enthusiastic about the world of start-ups and can you imagine your future in this area? Would you like to find out if you have hidden founder talents. And would you like to meet the FOSTEC Ventures Team and become familiar with our company culture? Then join us in Stuttgart as an  Entrepreneur in Residence and work for six months directly with our founders and the FOSTEC Ventures-Team.

Content – what you get out of it

During the paid EiR-Programme you will experience various areas of  FOSTEC Ventures and be directly active in our portfolio-companies. As an EiR, you are a trainee who will work in a structured and independent way and contribute to the success of our companies.

You will be integrated in small teams, create market analyses and develop and implement your own projects. With the FOSTEC Ventures start-up trainee programme, you will gain insights into area relevant to founding, such as Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Project and Product Management. Our trainee programme is finished off with double mentoring . You will be able to exchange with a current EiR trainee even before you start with us. During the programme, the FOSTEC Ventures founding partner Markus Fost will also support you as a mentor.

You will regularly participate in  Workshops and Pitch-Sessions. You will benefit from our extensive Network and be able to make import contacts for the future. And if we establish during the six months that we want to continue working together, we give especially successful candidates the opportunity to join FOSTEC Ventures or our Ventures. It may even be possible to found a joint business.

Requirements– what you bring

The Entrepreneur in Residence-Programme is aimed at high school graduates in business or IT disciplines. Sideways movers with appropriate professional experience are also invited to apply.

Some experience in project work, preferably in the internet sector, is a prerequisite. You should also think like an entrepreneur, be enthusiastic about the internet and the start-up scene, and be able to work both independently and in a structured team.

You can apply very simply by e-mail with your complete documents. Our Human Resources Team will then get in touch with you and maybe arrange a telephone interview with you. If the first impressions are right on both sides, we will get to know each other in a meeting in person.

As there are no fixed recruiting times, you can apply for the Start-up Trainee programme at any time in the year. State in your forms when you are available from. How many trainees we take on depends on suitability and requirement.
